I put a & d ointment on my foot tattoo and now it really hurts??? What do I do... I got it a wk. ago?

It healed up like a skin graph was done all wrinkly and shiny and now it hurts!!! It also looks sorta like a punctured wound on the surface the color has faded. What is wrong? I called the tattoo place. They said they never told me to use a and d which they did. That it will cause it to heal uo like a scab. Now it lays flat like it's already done healing

Switch to lubriderm. My feet tattoos hurt for a good while. Your feet will take a good month to heal all the way, and even then i lost some color.
