Im curious because I'm considering one there. I'm aware it's going to be painful, but I'm wondering how yours was for you. I've had 12 piercings including standard and inverse navel and nostril, as well as a medical procedure that involved 2 inch needles being shoved into two of my fingertips, which I handled fine. If that says anything about pain tolerance.

Doesn't hurt at all. The shoulder blade is honestly not a painful place to get a tattoo, I'd give it maybe a 2-3 for pain on a scale of one to ten, with one being the least and ten being the most. Of course, if the tattoo touches your spine or ribs it'll hurt more because those are bony areas but the scapula (shoulder blade bone) is kinda sunken in if that makes sense and it is covered by muscle which makes it a lot less painful than a bony area. Plus you seem to have a high pain tolerance so honestly you have nothing to worry about.

It's really not that bad! Kind of like someone is drawing on your back with a really sharp pen if that makes any sense! :P the worst part was the color, it didn't hurt really, but the constant pressure was kind of irritating!

probably one of the easiest places to deal with!
